Christophe a raison bien sûr, c'est un Petter 'Handyman', le faible coût de la version Petter 'Standard du moteur Huile' introduit en 1903 pour concurrencer les importations américaines. Il dispose d'un vilebrequin forgé et base inférieure par rapport à la base élevée et vilebrequin usiné de la Standard Oil la Petter moteur.

Christophe is correct of course, this is a Petter 'Handyman', the low cost version of the Petter 'Standard Oil Engine' introduced in 1903 to compete with American imports. It has a forged crankshaft and lower base compared to the machined crankshaft and high base of the Petter Standard oil engine.
The picture shows a Petter Standard Oil Engine at Beaulieu in 2015. You can see the balance weights on the crankshaft and the taller arched base
