Moteur Japy Wanted (Hit & Miss Governor)

Hello,

I live in England, and cannot write in French, so I hope this can be translated ok!

I have a collection of english stationary engines (Bamford, Ruston Hornsby, Petter, Lister, Crossley etc.) and enjoy restoring and showing my stationary engines.

I am looking to buy a vertical Moteur Japy engine and wondered if anyone has one for sale? I would like a vertical water cooled engine with hit and miss governor.

I would consider a part exchange with one of my English engines, or a cash purchase.

T'as la traduction Google c'est bon à part : " with hit and miss governor ", qui veut dire régulation de vitesse en tout ou rien, mais reste connue en "hit and miss" par nos amis ....Un coup je te vois ( queue de soupape d'AD ) un coup je ne te vois pas

I am still looking for a twin flywheel or single flywheel Moteur Japy engine if anyone has one for sale, or possible part exchange with a British engine?

Hello,

I have been researching the Moteur Japy engines and have decided that I would prefer a twin flywheel example (like the Model 12E Type K engines).

I have a 5.5hp Low Tension Ignition 1923 Ruston Hornsby AP engine that is complete, and in good condition mechanically.  It is in need of restoration to get it up and running again, but mainly this will comprise checking everything over to make sure it's all working correctly before it could be started. The magneto is in good working order, so I really don't see it being too much work to get the engine up and running.

I was intending on restoring the engine, but would possibly consider swappping it for a nice twin flywheel Moteur Japy engine.
